How to Rock Flats in the Office

If you have been following me for awhile you know I’m definitely a heels girl. I mostly wear heels to the office.  On the days I know I’m going to be running around a lot or if I have to go to one of our plants, I wear a pair of flats. Trust me you can wear a pair of flats with your more business casual looks and still be fashionable. Here are a few tips on how you can rock flats to the office.

If you are going for a more classic look, try ballet flats or flats with a more rounded toe. The Tory Burch Reva flats are a great option.

Avoid pencil skirts or dresses that fall below the knee when wearing flats. They tend to shorten your legs and make you look stumpy. Wide leg trousers should also be avoided when wearing flats. Try not to have pooling or bunching around the bottom when wearing slacks with flats.

Flats typically dress down an outfit, so try to dress up your outfit with nice accessories. Flip flops and sneakers should not even be on your list of office appropriate flats, so let’s not even go there.

Once you find a style that works for you, buy them in as many colors as you can afford.  If the thought of heels makes you cringe, these flats can help keep your office style game on point.
