April has been a pretty interesting month weather wise. The weather has flipped back and forth from cold to hot. Hopefully, we will have consistent warm weather soon. When it begins to warm up, most of us tend to become more relaxed with what we wear to work. I believe you still need to be office appropriate even if it is hot as the crap.
Casual Fridays were started in Hawaii in the 60s as Aloha Fridays. It was started as a way to sell floral print shirts. It was adopted on the mainland as Casual Fridays in the 90s by Levi Strauss & Co to promote their Dockers brand. Most of us look forward to the day we can be a little more casual in the office and throw on a nice pair of jeans.
