Home Refresh: My 2025 Project Plans
Hey guys! Spring is here, and if you’re anything like me, the change in season brings the itch to freshen things up around the house. I’ve got a full list of home projects I’m excited to tackle in 2025, and I wanted to bring you along for the ride. Whether you're looking for inspo or cheering me on, here’s what’s in store for the SouthernDivaKP household!
Kitchen Glow-Up
This season, I’m giving the kitchen a stylish refresh:
A fresh coat of paint for a clean, updated look
A bold wallpaper feature wall (yes, I’m taking the risk!)
New lighting to brighten things up
Replacing the sink and faucet with something sleek and modern
Swapping out cabinet knobs for a fresh, custom feel
Guest Bathroom Revamp
Time to give our guest bathroom some love:
A brand new vanity to elevate the space
Updating the tub and shower faucet for function and flair
New flooring for that perfect finishing touch
Living Room Mini-Makeover
We’ve got a small project here with a big impact: enclosing the over-the-fireplace TV nook. It’s all about making the space feel cozier and less cluttered.
Outdoor Living Vibes
You know I love a good patio moment, and this year it’s getting a full glow-up:
Taking down a tree that’s overstayed its welcome
Re-sodding the yard for that lush, green look
Swapping out the outdoor light for a breezy ceiling fan
All new outdoor furniture (I’ve got my eye on a few pieces already!)
Installing solar fence lighting to keep the vibes going after sunset
Primary Bedroom Refresh
The bedroom is getting its moment too:
New flooring that’s soft underfoot
A calming paint color to refresh the energy
Mounting the TV to free up space and keep things sleek
Ready, Set, DIY!
I’ll be sharing behind-the-scenes peeks, before-and-after photos, and tips I learn along the way on Instagram (@SouthernDivaKP), Pinterest, and here on the blog. If you’re planning your own home spruce-up, let me know in the comments, I’d love to hear what projects you’ve got going on!
Here’s to creating spaces that feel like home, one weekend at a time.
